Rooms were a little old but for a cheap hotel this one wasn't bad. Good cheap room in New Albany.
Very nice people. The rooms aren't bad at all.
Would not stay here. Me and my family was heading home from Florida and was getting tired. We saw this motel and figured we would stay to get a couple hours of sleep. We walked in and the room was nasty and wasn't clean. We figured since it was just for a couple hours we would not worry. When my oldest was in bed she had something bite her. When my wife pulled the sheets back there was bed bugs crawling. Hotel manager was very hateful and would not refund money. Even when I showed him the pictures and took a bed bug to him in a tissue. Worse hotel ever.
Our stay at this hotel was pleasant. I read the reviews prior to arriving, and I was reluctant, after my husband made the reservation for us. I asked about the reviews at the front desk. He said they were not true. He had me to check the room, at which, I did so THOROUGHLY. I'm very picky about where I stay. Other than it being an older hotel that could use some remodeling, I found no discrepancies there. The beds were nice and soft and slept very well. I cannot speak for the other reviews, but as for our stay, it was definitely a pleasant one, and I wouldn't have a problem staying there in the future. At the front desk I was even told that if I was not completely satisfied, that he'd give me a full refund on my room.
