- The shop owner had a terrible attitude when the concerns were brought forward (which was very kind at the start I might note). As the discussion progressed he became more and more irate and firmly refused any responsibility for delivering a terrible product.
I am writing this review here in order to help others avoid this shop. Additionally I will be calling Discover and asking them to contest the flowers. Unfortunately my folks are unable to go back to their shop, and who can blame them. Most reputable places would care more about fixing the problem and retaining a client, than keeping the money and ruining the relationship. A kind response and a refund would have gone a long way. This is the first encounter of this kind that I have ever had with a florist anywhere.

Talk about customer service! If you need flowers, plants or nearly anything, I bet you could call on Sissy "The Friendly Lady" cuz she aims to please!!

I just bought flowers for my Mom today from this shop. I ordered them over the phone because I am in Louisville, KY. It is to be noted that the flowers were not what I ordered. I had told the owner that I wanted three white hydrangeas with sprigs of fern to complement it. Very simple and classy. Instead, they threw a bunch of greenery and purple wax flowers in the center that were not arranged at all or cut to look appropriate with the hydrangeas. I had also asked for a short square vase, instead I got a tall green opaque looking vase.
When I called the store the owner of the shop was dismissive of my concerns and accused my father (who picked up the arrangement) of being in 'a bad mood from the start'. This was not accurate. My father waited 15 minutes while in the shop for them to 'arrange' the flowers because they were not ready. Essentially they just threw some greenery in the middle and ignored my original request. The shop owner, not joking, said that my father was only there a few minutes, and that he wasn't waiting for them to put together the arrangement, but rather that they 'just put a bow on it'. Apparently it takes 15 minutes to apply a bow. When I pressed him whether he was accusing my father of lying, the shop owner hung up on me.

I am from Phoenix, AZ and my folks live in New Albany, Miss. And for mother’s day I called and spoke with Sissy "The Friendly Lady" and she hooked me up. To beat all she was even able to get the flowers delivered within the next two hours...
My husband and I called back repeatedly for about 20 minutes. Each time, they rejected the call and sent it to voicemail. When my husband finally got through, the store owner denied hanging up on me and said that if we wanted a refund we would need to have them bring the flowers back. So my folks would have to drive back into town in order to even pursue a refund.
When my friend, Mary Kathryn Barton, (Koko) passed away, I called Bill at French's New Albany, MS Flower Shop and asked him to make a beautiful wreath for their front door. It is absolutely gorgeous; exactly what I wanted. I strongly recommend the French's New Albany Flower Shop for excellent service for any occasion.
